Re: Re: CODEPINK/Instead of War Sends Convoy to DC

so you suggest that links to communism now equate links to terrorism? i'm curious what form of protest against an unjust war you would not consider terrorism.

since you like to expose alleged conspiracy, perhaps this will help fan your paranoia:
www.floppingaces.net/2005/01/21/the-communist-protestors/

there, medea benjamin, code pink's founder, is mentioned as having helped organize the 1999 WTO protests in seattle, followed by a lot of hype over supposed, democracy-hating, communist agitators. coincidently, the WTO protests also gave birth to the indymedia movement, which indirectly lead to the creation of this very site, and, thus, its current promotion of code pink's latest action.

so there you have it, the vast, left-wing communist conspiracy to end the world laid bare. naturally, everyone involved, from medea benjamin, to the protesters in seattle, to the to indymedia folks in DC and elsewhere, to fidel castro, etc., are all are mccarthy-vindicating commies conspiring to destroy freedom.

thank goodness you finally exposed this horrible mischief before it got out of hand.

Thanks for admitting it in such plain language, commie.

no problem! my pleasure. also, looks like you're going to have to add the producers of "democracy now" to your list of bolshevik conspirators, since they're giving extensive coverage of the code pink protest in their show today. i'll bet that's a pretty big list now.

oh, and i got a couple bridges to sell you, too.

I heard no hype of "communist" agitators following the '99 seattle riots, all I heard about were anarchists.

if you read further into the comment thread, you'd see the "i got a couple bridges to sell you" bit.

i'm not sure why some personalities just love to imagine communist boogiemen lurking behind every large war protest, but it sure is fun to indulge their paranoia.
