So what? Slay()'s not going to sign it, and even if he did, the Police Board won't. It's becoming increasingly obvious that the average citizen of St. Louis has no protection against the corruption and abuse that are so institutionalized in this police deparmtent. It's only a matter of time before enough people realize this and begin to take it upon themselves to seek justice in the only way they can. Human beings have a right to defend themselves. It doesn't matter if they're defending themselves against a carjacker or a criminal with a badge.
